Technically today is the first anniversary of David’s Day! Whatever the technicalities, it was the day that archangels all over the world caught a glimpse of the real David Archuleta for the first time … beyond his ‘deer-in-the-headlights’ persona on the Idol stage … a grounded, endearing young man who, although was clearly overwhelmed by the massive support from fans, still managed to hold himself together to sign autographs and give interviews. It was a special day when fans and David shared the feeling of awe at the incredible outpouring of love for this young musical genius from Utah. And for many an archangel in our corner of the world, it will also be remembered as the day we discovered the beauty of livestreaming at a most ungodly hour lol!
The bond was made then – that of David and his archangels – one that perhaps was best conveyed thru his stellar deliveries of WYSYLM during the Idol tour.
And the quote of the day to cap it off? “Where did they all park?” of course!
